Wedding aerial photography and video add-ons — Wedding photographer
Specify aerial still photographs, video clips or both for the wedding, together with editing and delivery needs. Provide the venue and timetable so the operator can assess feasibility. Agree a fallback when aerial capture cannot safely or lawfully proceed.
Service scope
Commissioned aerial wedding imagery with the required still photographs, video clips and editing deliverables specified before booking. The operator assesses the venue, event conditions and applicable flight and privacy requirements; the contract includes a fallback when aerial capture cannot safely or lawfully proceed.
What is normally included
- Assess site-specific aerial capture feasibility
- Capture the agreed wedding imagery where feasible
- Edit and deliver the specified stills or video outputs
What is not included
- No guaranteed flight or crowd overflight
- No assumption that a photography parent excludes an agreed video add-on
- Guaranteed flight above wedding guests
- Permission inferred from venue ownership alone
- Automatic cinematic-film production
Typical tasks
- Assess site-specific aerial capture feasibility
- Capture the agreed wedding imagery where feasible
- Edit and deliver the specified stills or video outputs
- Coordinate feasible aerial capture windows with the wedding's ground-based coverage
- Agree how cancellation of aerial capture affects deliverables and charges
What to include in your brief
- Stills, video or both, and editing deliverables
- Venue, timing and permissions
- Operator responsibilities and non-flight fallback
- Venue location, proposed capture areas and available site information
- Required imagery timing and coordination with the main photographer or planner
Choosing the right professional
Choose an operator who confirms the intended output, site conditions and responsibilities. Do not accept a guaranteed flight above guests or assume venue permission alone settles every requirement.
Important considerations
- Conditions or restrictions can prevent an aerial flight
- Unclear stills-versus-video expectations can change editing and delivery needs
